This role blends estimating, client development, and field collaboration in a high-backlog environment. The position offers autonomy across office estimating, client meetings, and active job site visits, with 5+ years in commercial HVAC or mechanical contracting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC or mechanical contracting experience including estimating, engineering, or technical equipment sales.
• Solid knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, ductwork/piping design, airflow dynamics, and Wisconsin building codes.
• Proven track record closing business with general contractors, engineering consultants, and commercial facility owners.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial market development by building long-term relationships with GC's, developers, and facility directors.
• Perform precision mechanical estimating of equipment, labor, material, and vendor costs for HVAC and piping projects.
• Lead design/build proposals in collaboration with internal engineering teams to translate client requirements into high-margin solutions.
• Assemble and submit winning bid packages with clear vendor/subcontractor quotes.
• Pre-construction alignment through pre-bid walkthroughs and handoff reviews to ensure smooth transitions to field teams.
• Manage account portfolios and expand relationships to secure recurring maintenance and retrofit contracts.
