Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an HVAC technician in Waco, TX to inspect and maintain HVAC systems, diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions, install and calibrate equipment, and service refrigeration and building automation controls. Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain air-conditioning and HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions in heating and cooling units.
• Install, replace, and calibrate HVAC equipment, thermostatic controls, and liquid lines.
• Service refrigeration equipment, including refrigerators, ice machines, gas packs, and heat pumps.
• Maintain chilled and hot water supply systems and adjust internal control systems.
• Assemble and install metal ductwork.
• Assist in HVAC system planning and design.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records to ensure compliance with City, State, and EPA regulations.
• Identify and mitigate risks to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with management to support safety and operational standards.
• Support data center locations north and south of Waco, Texas

Job description

Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs
• Must be able to stand, crawl, sit, squat for extended periods of time

• EPA Universal Certification
• 1+ year of practical experience or education in HVAC/R
• Valid and current driver's license
• Must be insurable by the company’s insurance carrier
• Basic understanding of building automation controls
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience using Salesforce and ServiceMax is a plus
