Job responsibilities

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers in a defined commercial market
Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems in commercial environments
Coordinate with team leaders, project managers, and customers to understand on-site installation and repair requirements
Forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize on-site work
Serve as the direct customer contact and manage products and equipment on assigned projects
Identify, diagnose, and repair equipment and systems at customer locations
Use software, technology, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units
Maintain flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays as business requires
Enforce safety standards and maintain security and accountability of company-issued and procured assets
Record asset use, wear, and condition

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Typically 5 plus years of experience in HVAC
Technical School or formal training preferred
Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Working proficiency with a handheld computer, such as a smartphone or iPad
Valid driver’s license held for a minimum of 12 months
No major or frequent traffic violations, including DUI, hit and run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving, multiple smaller infractions, or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years
EPA Certification
Ability to work overtime and weekends, including occasional overnight stays, as business requires
Safety-sensitive role; additional drug screening may be required
