- Perform start-up services, preventative and remedial maintenance, field modifications, and testing of IT Cooling and electro-mechanical equipment at customer locations
- Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration and electro-mechanical systems using schematics, mechanical drawings, and testing tools
- Perform refrigerant-related tasks, including leak detection, reclamation, evacuation, and charging of R410A systems
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC electrical and control systems
- Provide technical support to internal teams, third-party service partners, and end users
- Test returned equipment and components to assess defects and determine operational readiness
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency field support
- Maintain detailed documentation of service visits, repairs, and installations
- Provide field assistance for power equipment installations and related technical activities
- Submit timely and accurate expense reports according to company policies
- Collaborate with departments, suppliers, and customers
Requirements
- Associate degree in HVAC, Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical field with 2–5 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing HVAC or refrigeration systems—or equivalent education and experience
- EPA Section 608 certification required
- Advanced proficiency in using mechanical and electronic test equipment
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical documents
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to identify root causes and implement solutions
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office, timekeeping, and expense reporting systems
- Valid driver's license required for travel to customer sites and use of rental vehicles
- Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule
- Ability to perform travel and on-site customer support
