Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an experienced commercial finance attorney to join the Americas Legal team supporting HPE Financial Services. This hybrid role is based in Houston, Texas, with an expectation to work from an office two days per week, enabling close collaboration with business leaders and other legal colleagues.

You will draft, review, and negotiate complex financing and leasing agreements, advise on transaction structures and risk, and help manage vendor and services

Qualificações

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active license in good standing to practice law in Texas.
• At least five years of relevant experience in a banking and finance practice at a major law firm.
• Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating complex financing agreements.
• Strong working knowledge of the Uniform Commercial Code, including Article 9 secured-transactions principles.
• Excellent legal drafting, analytical, critical-thinking, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex financing, leasing, and related commercial agreements, including arrangements supporting HPE and Juniper technology solutions.
• Advise on transaction structure, legal risk, and practical paths to execution, balancing legal requirements with business objectives.
• Support matters involving equipment leasing and financing, vendor and services arrangements, IT asset disposition (ITAD), and the sale of pre-owned equipment.
• Lead or support customer and partner negotiations, resolving issues efficiently and escalating material risks when appropriate.
• Provide clear, timely, and actionable guidance to business, sales, credit, finance, operations, and legal stakeholders.
• Manage multiple matters and competing priorities with sound judgment, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
• Develop creative, commercially practical solutions to novel or complex issues and contribute to process, template, and knowledge improvements.
