Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain commercial reporting, dashboards, and BI tools for pipeline, revenue, profitability, forecasting, and KPIs.
• Manage Voice of Customer and customer insight programs, including surveys and trend reporting.
• Support commercial operations through CRM data quality, lead and website inquiry management, and recurring reporting.
• Provide analytical support for Commercial Excellence initiatives, pricing, sales operations, and process improvement.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to translate data into actionable insights.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes, reporting tools, and data governance.

Job description

The Commercial Excellence Analyst supports the Coatings Services commercial organization through business intelligence, commercial analytics, customer insights, and operational support. You will provide the reporting, data, and insights needed to improve decision-making, increase sales productivity, and support profitable growth. You will work cross-functionally with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Leadership to improve commercial effectiveness through reporting, Voice of Customer programs, CRM support, and strategic business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain commercial reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence tools that provide visibility to pipeline performance, revenue, customer profitability, forecasting, and key commercial KPIs while identifying trends and actionable business insights.
• Manage Voice of Customer and customer insight programs, including customer surveys, feedback analysis, trend reporting, customer segmentation support, and identification of opportunities to improve customer retention and satisfaction.
• Support commercial operations through lead and website inquiry management, CRM data quality, customer and account maintenance, and recurring sales and business review reporting.
• Provide analytical support for Commercial Excellence initiatives by conducting data analysis, measuring business performance, and supporting pricing, sales operations, process improvement, and growth-related projects.
• Partner with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to translate business data into actionable insights that improve decision-making, sales productivity, and commercial effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement of commercial processes, reporting tools, and data governance practices to increase efficiency, consistency, and visibility across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in commercial analytics, sales operations, business intelligence, or related functions
• Experience with Excel, Salesforce, Power BI, or similar reporting tools preferred
• Ability to translate data into actionable business insights
• Experience creating dashboards, visualizations, and presentations that communicate complex data to business audiences.
