Job summary

First American in Tampa, FL is seeking a Commercial Escrow Officer to establish new escrow accounts and process escrow documents in line with company policy. You will coordinate with buyers, sellers and lenders to complete accurate, timely closings and deliver exceptional service.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of commercial escrow experience, strong written and verbal communication, and advanced MS Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of escrow related experience as an Escrow Officer, preferably in Commercial
• Passion for helping customers while maintaining a professional and positive attitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication with both internal and external customers; uses various types of communication to meet customer expectations and build relationships

Responsibilities

• Grow and service the business by providing outstanding customer service
• Complete simple and complex commercial real estate escrow transactions by coordinating between buyer, seller and lender
• Collaborate with Underwriting to monitor and mitigate risk to the company
• Ensure funds are properly accounted for and disbursed per contract terms
• Close transactions by reviewing, recording, and filing documents including final closing statements and title
• Prepare regular reports on escrow status for involved parties
• Prepare legal documents for closure of the sale
• Adhere to regulatory requirements in all processes
