Job Description Summary

Coach, drive, and lead lean behaviors, principles, and practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Lead process improvement projects aimed at enhancing business performance, reducing employee burden, and delivering outstanding customer impact. Drive lean transformation to achieve significant improvements in business metrics by partnering with leaders in business management roles.

This role supports the implementation of the GE Aerospace FLIGHT DECK operating model within Commercial Engines and Services. The ideal candidate will have transactional and operational business process lean experience, with foundational knowledge of lean principles, approaches, and methodology.

Job Responsibilities

1. Lead deployment, coaching, and sustainment of the FLIGHT DECK lean operating model across CES and teams.
2. Lead kaizen and improvement projects to meet operational goals, utilizing KPI-based performance management and SQDC principles.
3. Coach and collaborate with all organizational levels, including Subject Matter Experts, Support Staff, and Leadership, to promote Lean Culture and Continuous Improvement.
4. Communicate solutions effectively within functions and cross-functional partner organizations.
5. Explain complex or sensitive information to build consensus and influence others through persuasion skills.
6. Coach leaders to deploy Value Stream Management, Problem Solving, Daily Management, and Kaizen to improve business and customer outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading or managing teams in a Lean environment
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
• Relocation to Evendale, OH, offered only to candidates willing to relocate

Desired Characteristics and Experience

• At least 10 years’ experience with Lean Transformation, Principles & Tools, preferably in transactional environments
• Proven experience in teaching, coaching, and applying lean methods

• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
