**Job Description Summary**

Coach, drive, and lead lean behaviors, principles, and practices to build a culture of continuous improvement. Lead process improvement projects aimed at enhancing business performance, reducing employee burden, and delivering outstanding customer impact. Drive lean transformation to achieve significant improvements in business metrics by partnering with leaders in business management roles.

This role will support the implementation of the GE Aerospace FLIGHT DECK operating model within Commercial Engines and Services. The ideal candidate will have experience in transactional and operational business process lean initiatives, with foundational knowledge of lean principles, approaches, and methodologies.

**Job Description**

**_Essential Responsibilities_**

1. Lead the deployment, coaching, and sustainment of the FLIGHT DECK lean operating model across CES and related teams.
2. Lead kaizen events and improvement projects focused on achieving operational goals using KPI-based performance management and SQDC principles.
3. Coach and collaborate with all organizational levels, including Subject Matter Experts, Support Staff, and Leadership, to foster a Lean Culture and drive Continuous Improvement.
4. Communicate solutions effectively within functions and across cross-functional partner organizations.
5. Explain difficult or sensitive information, work to build consensus, and utilize persuasion skills to influence others.
6. Coach organizational leaders in deploying Value Stream Management, Problem Solving, Daily Management, and Kaizen practices to improve business and customer outcomes.

**Minimum Qualifications/Requirements**

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading or managing teams in a Lean environment.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Willingness to relocate to our headquarters in Evendale, OH, as relocation is offered only to candidates willing to move.

**Desired Characteristics and Experience**

• At least 10 years of experience with Lean Transformation, Principles & Tools, preferably in transactional environments.
• Proven experience in teaching, coaching, practicing, and applying lean methods.
• Strong bias for action with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Analytical problem solver, challenge existing processes, and think critically.
• Ability to influence without direct authority.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools to monitor performance and measure improvement effectiveness.
