The Commercial Electrician role is to assist in the installation of your assigned electrical project in Staunton, Charlottesville, and surrounding areas.

You'll perform tasks from reading blueprints to terminating panels, mentor helpers, and uphold safety protocols while delivering quality workmanship for our customers.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the electrical trade and safety protocols.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with EMT conduit installation.
• Physical ability to lift and work in varying environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of electrical projects.
• Cutting, bending, threading EMT conduit.
• Read blueprints and submittals.
• Hook up/terminate electrical panels and fixtures.
• Mentor helpers and apprentices.

Commercial Electrician

The Role:

The Commercial Electrician is responsible for assisting in the install of your assigned electrical project.

What You'll Do:

• Thorough knowledge in the electrical trade
• Cutting, bending, threading and installation of EMT conduit of all sizes
• Experience bending offsets, 3 points, 4 points, saddles, kicks, 90's, etc.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, submittals, etc.
• Assisting in hooking up/terminating electrical panels, set fixtures, and various electrical devices
• Experience seeing installs from start to finish
• Ability to read and interpret construction/coordination drawings and blueprints
• Work as a trainer and mentor for helpers and apprentices
• Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation

You Bring:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Vocational school or prior training preferred.
• Basic understanding of trade principles and concepts.
• Strong interest in the trade and a desire to learn and develop new skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety and following established protocols.
