Moore's Electrical and Mechanical is seeking a skilled Commercial Electrician to support installation on electrical projects in Charlottesville and surrounding areas. The role focuses on hands-on wiring, conduit work, and coordination with the project team.

You will read blueprints and wiring diagrams, install EMT conduit, terminate panels, mentor helpers, and ensure safety compliance. Moores is ESOP-owned with competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of the electrical trade and field installation.

Commercial Electrician

The Role:

The Commercial Electrician is responsible for assisting in the install of your assigned electrical project.

What You'll Do:

• Thorough knowledge in the electrical trade
• Cutting, bending, threading and installation of EMT conduit of all sizes
• Experience bending offsets, 3 points, 4 points, saddles, kicks, 90's, etc.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, submittals, etc.
• Assisting in hooking up/terminating electrical panels, set fixtures, and various electrical devices
• Experience seeing installs from start to finish
• Ability to read and interpret construction/coordination drawings and blueprints
• Work as a trainer and mentor for helpers and apprentices
• Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation
