Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical, & Plumbing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician to support new construction and tenant improvements across California. The role involves installing conduit, wiring, and control systems, reading blueprints, and coordinating with foremen and other trades on diverse projects.

The position may require overnight shifts and travel to multiple job sites. A strong physical work capability and familiarity with NEC standards are essential for success on

Qualifications

• Four+ years of commercial construction electrical experience.
• Ability to commute to multiple job sites in Southern California.
• Willingness to work third shifts or overnight schedules.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and secure conduit and cabling (EMT, PVC, MC, Romex).
• Install wiring, raceways, boxes, and electrical components per plans and NEC.
• Pull, feed, and terminate conductors in panels, switchgear, transformers, distribution systems, and control equipment.
• Build, install, and troubleshoot control panels and related systems.
• Read blueprints and coordinate with foremen and other trades to keep projects on schedule.
• May perform refrigeration/HVAC wiring or Ansul system installations as needed.

Superior Electrical, Mechanical, & Plumbing, Inc. is a trusted regional provider of skilled trade services, specializing in commercial new construction, tenant improvements, and electrical services. We are currently seeking a Commercial Electrician to support new construction and tenant improvement projects at various stages of construction throughout California.

Schedule

• Requires flexibility in scheduling, including overnight shifts, and the ability to travel for extended assignments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and secure various types of conduit and cabling, including EMT, PVC, MC cable, flexible conduit, CAT5/6, RMC, and Romex
• Install wiring, raceways, junction boxes, and electrical components in accordance with project specifications and applicable electrical codes
• Pull, feed, and terminate conductors in panels, switchgear, transformers, distribution systems, and control equipment
• Build, install, and troubleshoot control panels and related systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical installation issues and system malfunctions
• Perform refrigeration and/or HVAC motor control wiring (preferred)
• Assist with or perform Ansul system installations (preferred)
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation
• Coordinate with foremen and other trades to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
• May perform other jobsite related duties assigned by the foreman

Requirements

• A minimum of four years of recent and relevant experience in commercial construction
• Ability to commute to various jobsites throughout Southern California
• Availability to work third shifts or overnight schedules as needed
• Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, walking, squatting, and ascending or descending stairs
• Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights (including lifts), and in inclement weather
