Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. seeks an experienced Commercial Electrician to support our commercial electrical projects across California. The role requires flexibility for overnight shifts and travel to various job sites, including Southern California.

A minimum of four years in electrical commercial construction is expected. You will install conduit and wiring, read blueprints, coordinate with other trades, and troubleshoot complex systems while working on projects that

Qualifications

• Four+ years of electrical commercial construction experience.
• Ability to commute to various jobsites throughout Southern California.
• Availability to work third shifts or overnight schedules as needed.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces, at heights, and in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and secure conduit and cabling (EMT, PVC, MC, flexible conduit, CAT5/6, RMC, Romex).
• Install wiring, raceways, junction boxes, and electrical components per specs and codes.
• Pull, feed, and terminate conductors in panels, switchgear, transformers, distribution, and control equipment.
• Build, install, and troubleshoot control panels and related systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical installation issues and system malfunctions.
• Perform refrigeration and/or HVAC motor control wiring (preferred).
• Assist with or perform Ansul system installations (preferred).
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings to ensure accurate installation.
• Coordinate with foremen and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
• May perform other jobsite duties as assigned by foreman.

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is a trusted provider of skilled trade services, supporting commercial new construction, tenant improvements, and electrical services for our clients. We are currently seeking a Commercial Electrician to support our commercial electrical projects at various stages of construction throughout California. This role requires flexibility in scheduling, including overnight shifts and travel assignments.

Schedule

• Sunday through Thursday 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and secure various types of conduit and cabling, including EMT, PVC, MC cable, flexible conduit, CAT5/6, RMC, and Romex
• Install wiring, raceways, junction boxes, and electrical components in accordance with project specifications and applicable electrical codes
• Pull, feed, and terminate conductors in panels, switchgear, transformers, distribution systems, and control equipment
• Build, install, and troubleshoot control panels and related systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical installation issues and system malfunctions
• Perform refrigeration and/or HVAC motor control wiring (preferred)
• Assist with or perform Ansul system installations (preferred)
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation
• Coordinate with foremen and other trades to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
• May perform other jobsite related duties assigned by the foreman

Requirements

• Ability to commute to various jobsites throughout Southern California
• Availability to work third shifts or overnight schedules as needed
• Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, walking, squatting, and ascending or descending stairs
• Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights (including lifts), and in inclement weather
