Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical, & Plumbing, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Electrician to support new construction and tenant improvements across California.

The role requires travel to various job sites and may include overnight shifts. The ideal candidate brings at least four years of commercial construction electrical experience, a valid Journeyman Electrician license, and the ability to read blueprints and work safely in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of commercial construction experience.
• Able to commute to Southern California jobsites.
• Willingness to work third shifts/overnight when required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied environments.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and secure conduit and cabling, including EMT, PVC, MC cable, flexible conduit, CAT5/6, RMC, and Romex.
• Install wiring, raceways, junction boxes, and electrical components per code and project specs.
• Pull, feed, and terminate conductors in panels, switchgear, transformers, and distribution systems.
• Build, install, and troubleshoot control panels and related systems.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and system malfunctions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation.
• Coordinate with foremen and other trades to keep projects on schedule.
• May perform other jobsite duties as assigned.

Superior Electrical, Mechanical, & Plumbing, Inc. is a trusted regional provider of skilled trade services, specializing in commercial new construction, tenant improvements, and electrical services. We are currently seeking a Commercial Electrician to support new construction and tenant improvement projects at various stages of construction throughout California.

Schedule

• Requires flexibility in scheduling, including overnight shifts, and the ability to travel for extended assignments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and secure various types of conduit and cabling, including EMT, PVC, MC cable, flexible conduit, CAT5/6, RMC, and Romex
• Install wiring, raceways, junction boxes, and electrical components in accordance with project specifications and applicable electrical codes
• Pull, feed, and terminate conductors in panels, switchgear, transformers, distribution systems, and control equipment
• Build, install, and troubleshoot control panels and related systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical installation issues and system malfunctions
• Perform refrigeration and/or HVAC motor control wiring (preferred)
• Assist with or perform Ansul system installations (preferred)
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation
• Coordinate with foremen and other trades to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
• May perform other jobsite related duties assigned by the foreman

Requirements

• A minimum of four years of recent and relevant experience in commercial construction
• Ability to commute to various jobsites throughout Southern California
• Availability to work third shifts or overnight schedules as needed
• Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, walking, squatting, and ascending or descending stairs
• Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights (including lifts), and in inclement weather
