Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Electrician to support new construction and tenant improvements across California.

This full-time role requires the ability to travel to different job sites in Southern California and work overnight shifts as needed. Responsibilities include installing conduits and wiring per code, wiring panels and control systems, troubleshooting issues, reading blueprints, and coordinating with foremen and other trades to meet project

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of recent commercial construction experience.
• Ability to commute to multiple Southern California sites.
• Availability for third shifts or overnight work.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and secure conduit and cabling (EMT, PVC, MC, flexible conduit, CAT5/6, RMC, Romex).
• Install wiring, raceways, junction boxes, and electrical components per specs and codes.
• Pull, feed, and terminate conductors in panels, switchgear, transformers, and distribution systems.
• Build, install, and troubleshoot control panels and related systems.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and system Malfunctions.
• Perform refrigeration and/or HVAC motor control wiring (preferred).
• Assist with Ansul system installations (preferred).
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure correct installation.
• Coordinate with foremen and other trades to keep projects on schedule.
• May perform other jobsite duties as assigned.

We are currently seeking a Commercial Electrician to support new construction and tenant improvement projects at various stages of construction throughout California.

Schedule

• Requires flexibility in scheduling, including overnight shifts, and the ability to travel for extended assignments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and secure various types of conduit and cabling, including EMT, PVC, MC cable, flexible conduit, CAT5/6, RMC, and Romex
• Install wiring, raceways, junction boxes, and electrical components in accordance with project specifications and applicable electrical codes
• Pull, feed, and terminate conductors in panels, switchgear, transformers, distribution systems, and control equipment
• Build, install, and troubleshoot control panels and related systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical installation issues and system malfunctions
• Perform refrigeration and/or HVAC motor control wiring (preferred)
• Assist with or perform Ansul system installations (preferred)
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation
• Coordinate with foremen and other trades to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
• May perform other jobsite related duties assigned by the foreman

Requirements

• A minimum of four years of recent and relevant experience in commercial construction
• Ability to commute to various jobsites throughout Southern California
• Availability to work third shifts or overnight schedules as needed
• Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, walking, squatting, and ascending or descending stairs
• Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights (including lifts), and in inclement weather

Salary Description

$24 to $33 per hour (based on experience)
