Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. seeks a Licensed Journeyman Commercial Electrician for new construction and tenant improvements. This full-time on-site role requires flexibility for day and overnight shifts and travel to diverse job sites.

You will install conduit, wiring, panels, and control systems, read blueprints, and coordinate with foremen and trades to meet project timelines. Experience in HVAC motor control wiring and Ansul systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician License issued by the DIR.
• Ability to commute to various jobsites.
• Availability to work third shifts or overnight schedules as needed.
• Physical ability to perform demanding manual tasks (lift up to 50 lbs, bend, climb).
• Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights and in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and secure various conduit and cabling (EMT, PVC, MC, flexible, CAT5/6, RMC, Romex).
• Install wiring, raceways, boxes, and components per specs and codes.
• Pull, feed, and terminate conductors in panels and distribution systems.
• Build, install, and troubleshoot control panels and related systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues and malfunctions.
• Perform refrigeration and/or HVAC motor control wiring (preferred).
• Assist with Ansul system installations (preferred).
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings for accurate installation.
• Coordinate with foremen and other trades to stay on schedule.
• May perform other jobsite duties as assigned.

We are currently seeking a Licensed Journeyman Commercial Electrician for new construction and tenant improvement projects at various stages.

Schedule

• Requires flexibility in scheduling, including day shifts, overnight shifts, and the ability to travel for extended assignments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and secure various types of conduit and cabling, including EMT, PVC, MC cable, flexible conduit, CAT5/6, RMC, and Romex
• Install wiring, raceways, junction boxes, and electrical components in accordance with project specifications and applicable electrical codes
• Pull, feed, and terminate conductors in panels, switchgear, transformers, distribution systems, and control equipment
• Build, install, and troubleshoot control panels and related systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical installation issues and system malfunctions
• Perform refrigeration and/or HVAC motor control wiring (preferred)
• Assist with or perform Ansul system installations (preferred)
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation
• Coordinate with foremen and other trades to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
• May perform other jobsite related duties assigned by the foreman

Salary Description

$35 to $50 per hour depending on experience
