Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Electrician to support new construction and tenant improvements across California. You will install conduit, wiring, panels, and control systems according to project specs and electrical codes.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of commercial construction experience, can travel to Southern California jobsites, and are able to work third shifts. Physical stamina and safety focus are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of recent commercial construction experience.
• Ability to travel to Southern California jobsites.
• Willingness to work third shifts or overnight schedules.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces or at heights.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and secure conduit and cabling (EMT, PVC, MC, flexible conduit, CAT5/6, RMC, Romex).
• Install wiring, raceways, junction boxes, and electrical components per specs and codes.
• Pull, feed, and terminate conductors in panels, switchgear, transformers, and control equipment.
• Build, install, and troubleshoot control panels and related systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical installation issues and system malfunctions.
• Perform refrigeration and/or HVAC motor control wiring (preferred).
• Assist with or perform Ansul system installations (preferred).
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings for accurate installation.
• Coordinate with foremen and other trades to stay on schedule.
• May perform other jobsite duties as assigned.

We are currently seeking a Commercial Electrician to support new construction and tenant improvement projects at various stages of construction throughout California.

Schedule

• Requires flexibility in scheduling, including overnight shifts, and the ability to travel for extended assignments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and secure various types of conduit and cabling, including EMT, PVC, MC cable, flexible conduit, CAT5/6, RMC, and Romex
• Install wiring, raceways, junction boxes, and electrical components in accordance with project specifications and applicable electrical codes
• Pull, feed, and terminate conductors in panels, switchgear, transformers, distribution systems, and control equipment
• Build, install, and troubleshoot control panels and related systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical installation issues and system malfunctions
• Perform refrigeration and/or HVAC motor control wiring (preferred)
• Assist with or perform Ansul system installations (preferred)
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation
• Coordinate with foremen and other trades to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
• May perform other jobsite related duties assigned by the foreman

Requirements

• A minimum of four years of recent and relevant experience in commercial construction
• Ability to commute to various jobsites throughout Southern California
• Availability to work third shifts or overnight schedules as needed
• Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, walking, squatting, and ascending or descending stairs
• Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights (including lifts), and in inclement weather
