Vortex Doors, America’s leading door repair and service provider, is seeking Service Technicians to join our expert team in Denver. You will install, repair, and maintain a range of commercial doors, ensuring safety and compliance while delivering outstanding customer service.

Ideal candidates may have 2+ years in the commercial door service industry or be entry-level with a strong mechanical aptitude. Full-time hours, on-site work, and ongoing training are available in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in commercial door service a plus.
• Knowledge of door types, brands and hardware a plus.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with reading a tape measure for precise measurements.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair various commercial doors and hardware.
• Diagnose and repair door-related issues, including springs, hinges, locks, and electrical components.
• Install and configure door hardware and access control systems.
• Ensure safety and code compliance on all installations.
• Provide clear explanations and cost-effective solutions to customers.
• Document service visits, repairs, and installations with accurate reporting.
• Perform quality checks to meet company standards.
