Usalco seeks a Commercial Data Analyst to bridge our ERP and Salesforce environments, delivering insights and reports that guide sales and account management decisions.

You will own the commercial reporting layer, build dashboards in Salesforce/Power BI, and partner with commercial teams on initiatives, pricing, and market analysis. A strong data mindset and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in a commercial, sales operations, or business analyst role.
• Hands-on Salesforce experience — reports, dashboards, and data hygiene — is a must.
• Advanced Excel proficiency; Power Query experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and flag data quality issues before they surface in reporting.
• Strong communication skills — able to translate data findings into plain-language business insights.

Responsibilities

• Own the commercial reporting layer — pipeline, win/loss trends, customer service metrics, revenue by customer, segment, region, and product.
• Reconcile self-reported new and lost business entries in Salesforce against ERP actuals to improve data integrity and accuracy.
• Build and maintain dashboards in Salesforce and/or Power BI that support daily decision-making for the commercial team.
• Define and audit commercial KPIs; assess customer segmentation to identify and target high-value accounts.
• Maintain customer master data segmentation fields and work with sales to update gaps.
• Identify root causes of master data quality gaps across the ERP and Salesforce, and work with IT and operations to resolve them.
• Deliver regular commercial performance summaries to commercial leadership with clear, actionable takeaways.
• Partner with commercial teams to support and track execution of key commercial initiatives — not just own reporting, but drive accountability and visibility into progress.
• Partner with commercial operations on bid optimization and margin defense; support bids and contract reviews by the Senior Leadership Team under existing Delegation of Authority.
• Support pricing analysis, territory performance reviews, and customer growth and churn reporting.
• Leverage best-in-class AI tools to surface deeper commercial insights and accelerate analysis — including predictive modeling and anomaly detection.
• Build a predictive analytics and early warning operating system that enables the commercial team to act on leading indicators, not just lagging results.
• Track and analyze market intelligence and key industry trends at a regional and local level to inform commercial strategy and competitive positioning.
