Job summary

Olin is seeking a Commercial Customer Service Intern to support the customer service team in order management, quality notifications, customer analysis, and routine order activities. The role is based in McIntosh, AL and offers hourly pay for undergraduate and graduate students.

You will participate in order management, monitor order visibility, and log quality notifications to capture service failures while analyzing key performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate or graduate Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related degree program (or pending enrollment in a Master’s program in one of these disciplines)
• Must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times during time at Olin; transcript required each term
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the rotation or continuously throughout the year (can be part-time while taking classes)

Responsibilities

• Perform order management activities, including routine customer order activities and order entry
• Report order visibility and blocked orders review to ensure timely delivery and invoicing on shipped products
• Enter quality notifications to capture service failures
• Retrieve customer output documents
• Evaluate and analyze key performance metrics
