Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Rental Credit Specialist in Annapolis, MD to analyze creditworthiness and risk across Rental, National Rental and FMG lines.

You will support sales with credit recommendations and assist in process improvements to drive revenue while mitigating risk. Responsibilities include reviewing credit requests, analyzing financial data, and communicating with collections, sales and operations to manage high risk accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting or 3 years equivalent business work experience.
• Two years or more experience in commercial credit.
• Two years or more experience in financial statement analysis preferred

Responsibilities

• Works with Rental, National Rental, and FMG sales group on credit requests for new customers and increased credit lines.
• Review leases and initial review of lease assignments handling preliminary credit review and obtaining Ryder documentation.
• Reviews credit reports, Ryder history, and financial statements.
• Determine credit exposure and credit line, and plan actions to reduce rentals when needed.
• Communicate with loss, collections, sales and operations on high risk accounts by email or calls.
• Verify all critical documentation and security from customers (ACH amendments, deposits, ILOCs, guarantees).
• Assist daily with Credit Hold Mailbox and ensure proper information is provided.
