Prosperity Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst to perform underwriting, monitoring, and portfolio management for Commercial Banking relationships. The role focuses on ensuring strong credit quality and efficient internal processes to retain and expand client relationships.

You will analyze financial data for loan requests, support loan packages, coordinate closings, and assist in risk management and covenant compliance. A bachelor’s degree and banking experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (business concentration preferred).
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and financial spreading software.
• Has 2-3 years of banking experience, primarily related to credit analysis/underwriting.
• Demonstrates strong written and analytical skills.
• Understanding of credit policy and ability to evaluate cash-flow and collateral-based credits.
• Ability to make judgments with limited guidance and handle complex problems.
• Excellent planning, organizational, multitasking and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist with due diligence/analysis of new client relationships and memos.
• Manage renewal processes with Relationship Manager, client, and credit department.
• Assist in preparing loan packages, making presentations, and loan approvals.
• Oversee modifications/amendments/waivers to existing credit agreements.
• Coordinate loan closings with outside counsel and internal teams.
• Assist and join Relationship Manager in business development calling efforts.
• Monitor loan portfolio for covenant compliance and financial reporting.
• Maintain small loan/deposit portfolios and support risk management.
