Job summary

Guaranty Bank and Trust is seeking a Full-Time Commercial Portfolio Manager to act as the primary credit and portfolio support partner to a Commercial Loan Officer. You will analyze credit requests, manage portfolios, and ensure timely underwriting and ongoing monitoring.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of commercial credit experience, strong financial statement skills, and knowledge of Excel. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, relationship-based banking, and collaboration across Credit

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in commercial credit analysis, portfolio management, or commercial banking.
• nCino experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary credit support resource for the Commercial Loan Officer(s).
• Analyze new and existing commercial credit relationships and provide recommendations on structure, terms, covenants, and risk ratings.
• Prepare comprehensive Credit Approval Memorandums (CAM) for commercial borrowers, including large and complex credit requests.
• Evaluate borrower and guarantor financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, and liquidity.
• Review third-party reports including appraisals, environmental reports, business valuations, and credit bureau reports.
