Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking a Credit Analyst to analyze credit information, assess risk, and support lending decisions for a Commercial Banking portfolio in the Grand Rapids area. You will prepare credit summaries, propose terms, and monitor loan performance in collaboration with Relationship Managers.

The role focuses on maintaining compliance with bank policies, improving service quality, and identifying opportunities to expand client relationships through sound financial analysis and risk

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Business Administration, Finance and Accounting preferred.
Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience.

Responsibilities

Analyzes credit information and financial performance to support lending decisions.
Prepares detailed credit summaries and risk assessments for an assigned portfolio.
Supports credit-granting decisions by making recommendations to manager and negotiating loan terms.
Monitors portfolio performance and ensures accuracy of loan documentation and compliance.
