Job summary
BMO Financial Group is seeking an experienced credit analyst to support lending decisions for a commercial banking portfolio. You will analyze credit information, assess risk, and prepare detailed credit summaries to guide loan structuring and terms in alignment with policy.
In this role you will monitor portfolio performance, identify cross-sell opportunities, and collaborate with Relationship Managers to deliver exceptional client service while maintaining regulatory compliance and accurate
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Business Administration, Finance and Accounting preferred.
- 1-3 years of relevant credit or lending experience in a corporate or banking environment.
- Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience.
- Credit qualifications and associated knowledge per portfolio requirements.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes credit information to support lending decisions and processes for Commercial banking loans.
- Performs financial analysis and risk assessments of clients’ credit information for an assigned portfolio.
- Supports credit-granting decisions and recommends loan terms and structures.
- Monitors portfolio performance and ensures accuracy and integrity of loan documentation.
