Job summary

BMO Financial Group in Indianapolis is seeking a Credit Analyst to analyze credit information and support lending decisions for a Commercial Banking portfolio. You will prepare detailed credit summaries, assess client risk, and ensure compliance with bank policies while delivering strong client service.

You will collaborate with Relationship Managers, structure loans, monitor performance, and identify cross-sell opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Business Administration, Finance and Accounting preferred.
• 1–3 years of relevant credit or lending experience in a corporate or banking environment is preferred.
• Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial information and assess client creditworthiness for lending decisions.
• Prepare detailed credit summaries and risk analyses for assigned portfolios.
• Support loan structuring, negotiations and terms to align with client needs and risk policies.
• Monitor portfolio performance and ensure accuracy of loan documentation.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and contribute to portfolio growth.
