Busey Bank is seeking a Commercial Underwriter to provide accurate, timely credit underwriting for CRE loans. You will analyze financial data, prepare CCAR memos, and work with Relationship Managers to assess risk and opportunities.

The role involves evaluating collateral and monitoring portfolios, with the potential for bonus based on performance. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance and 3+ years in commercial credit, with strong communication and Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance.
• 3+ years of Commercial Credit experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of financial accounting.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial statement spreading and DSCR/FCC ratio analysis per Busey guidelines.
• Use cash flow, liquidity, profitability and leverage data to assess credit risk.
• Prepare CCAR memos with loan risk details for approvals.
• Evaluate collateral, industry data and other credit information.
• Assist with portfolio management tasks and monitoring of borrowing base reports.
