Job summary

CyberCoders seeks an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations for mid-to-large scale commercial projects. You will plan, coordinate and supervise construction activities to ensure safety, timeliness, budget adherence and quality while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and project teams.

You will oversee trades, enforce OSHA safety standards and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial construction experience with progressive superintendent responsibilities.
• Experience managing mid-to-large scale commercial projects (office, retail, hospitality, medical or industrial).
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, means and materials; reading blueprints and interpreting specifications.
• Experience with project management and scheduling tools (Procore, Prolog, MS Project).
• Demonstrated commitment to safety with OSHA 30-hour certification preferred and on-site enforcement experience.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills; ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and resolve conflicts.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license; construction-related degree/certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day on-site construction activities, ensuring work proceeds according to schedule, drawings and specifications.
• Develop, maintain and communicate detailed project schedules; coordinate sequencing of trades and deliveries to meet milestones.
• Manage subcontractors and on-site labor, including performance monitoring, safety enforcement and productivity optimization.
• Enforce site safety programs, conduct regular safety meetings and inspections, and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Perform quality control inspections, resolve construction issues promptly and maintain accurate records of deficiencies and corrective actions.
• Coordinate material procurement and logistics with project managers and suppliers to avoid delays and minimize costs.
• Review plans, submittals and RFIs; collaborate with project management and design teams to resolve technical and constructability issues.
• Prepare daily reports, track progress against budgets and schedules, and provide regular updates to project stakeholders.
• Facilitate site meetings with owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors; document decisions and action items.
• Mentor and develop junior field staff, promote best practices and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Commercial Construction Superintendent

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations for mid-to-large scale commercial projects. • Proven track record managing mid-to-large scale commercial projects (office, retail, hospitality, medical or industrial)
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, means and materials, reading blueprints and interpreting specifications
• Experience with project management and scheduling tools (Procore, Prolog, MS Project or similar)
• Demonstrated commitment to safety with OSHA 30-hour certification preferred and experience enforcing safety programs on-site
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills; ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and resolve conflicts
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, problem solving and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Valid drivers license; trade or construction-related degree/certification is a plus
