Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee daily on-site operations, manage subcontractors, coordinate activities, enforce safety standards, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

This role serves as the primary on-site leader from start to completion, requiring strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to read drawings, monitor progress, conduct site inspections, and maintain accurate field documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Construction Superintendent or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and sequencing.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proven experience managing subcontractors and job-site personnel.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain).
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily on-site construction activities.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, labor, and materials.
• Ensure work is performed according to plans, specifications, and local building codes.
• Maintain site organization, cleanliness, and productivity.
• Develop and maintain the project schedule in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Monitor progress and address delays or issues.
• Conduct daily and weekly site inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Verify completed work before inspections and turnover.
• Enforce all company, OSHA, and site-specific safety regulations.
• Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Identify and correct unsafe conditions immediately.
• Maintain site safety documentation and incident reports.
• Serve as the primary on-site point of contact.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, and clients.
• Lead by example and foster a positive, professional job-site culture.
• Resolve conflicts and field issues efficiently.
• Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and manpower tracking.
• Review drawings, RFIs, and change orders.
• Assist with inspections, punch lists, and project closeout documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Site Management & Operations
