Job summary

Doege Development, LLC is seeking a Commercial Superintendent to oversee day-to-day operations on commercial construction sites in the Phoenix area. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and with top quality while enforcing safety and code compliance.

You will manage field activities, coordinate subcontractors, track progress, and maintain documentation. Strong leadership, BIM/blueprint interpretation, and proficiency with PM software are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction supervision.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, codes, and safety regulations.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all field activities on commercial construction projects, including scheduling subcontractors, suppliers, and inspections.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractor work to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications.
• Conduct daily site inspections and meetings to track progress and resolve issues.
• Monitor project timelines, costs, and resources to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintain accurate site documentation including logs, reports, safety records, and daily progress notes.
• Enforce safety regulations and lead regular safety meetings to promote a culture of safety.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients.
• Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Oversee the delivery and use of materials and equipment.
• Assist in preparing and managing project punch lists and closeout activities.
