Job summary

CNA is seeking an individual contributor to manage commercial claims with low to moderate complexity. You will verify policy coverage, gather information, maintain documentation, and disburse within authority while communicating with insureds and claimants.

You will determine liability through investigations, collaborate with partners, and look for subrogation opportunities, all while providing proactive, quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manages an inventory of low to moderate complexity commercial claims following company protocols.
• Verifies coverage, gathers information, maintains file documentation, and authorizes disbursements within authority.
• Interacts with insureds, claimants and business partners to provide timely updates and support.
• Determines liability and compensability by investigations with insureds, witnesses and experts.
• Collaborates with internal and external partners to facilitate best claim outcomes.
• Identifies subrogation/salvage opportunities or potential fraud and refers to SIU resources.
