Job summary

Abstrakt Marketing Group in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Commercial Civil Construction Estimator with 4D BIM experience to join our preconstruction team. You will develop accurate, competitive estimates from concept through bid, using 4D sequencing and BIM/VDC to improve cost accuracy and constructability.

Ideal candidates understand earthwork, site development, and can translate drawings into quantities, costs, schedules, and 4D visualizations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil construction estimating experience.
• Ability to read plans and specifications and perform quantity takeoffs.
• Experience with 4D BIM, BIM/VDC, or model-based scheduling.
• Strong Excel and estimating software skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual, preliminary, detailed, and final estimates for commercial civil construction projects.
• Develop bid scopes and solicit competitive subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Review plans, specifications, addenda, geotechnical reports, and contract documents.
• Coordinate with BIM/VDC teams on sequencing and construction planning.
