Job summary

Risk Placement Services, Inc. is seeking a trusted risk advisor to middle market and large commercial clients, helping them navigate complex insurance challenges and uncover opportunities to better protect their businesses.

You will build and grow a profitable book of business by developing strong client and carrier relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering customized risk management solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 1+ years in insurance, sales, or business development.
• Commercial casualty insurance experience required.
• Proven ability to build relationships and generate new business.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and market dynamics.
• Active Property & Casualty license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to grow portfolio and revenue.
• Cultivate relationships with clients, prospects, carriers, and centers of influence.
• Analyze risks and design tailored insurance and risk management solutions.
• Collaborate with underwriters, account managers, and internal specialists to deliver exceptional client experiences.
• Stay informed on industry trends and market conditions to provide insights and guidance.
• Represent RPS at industry events and networking opportunities to build brand and opportunities.
• Negotiate with carriers to secure competitive coverage solutions for clients.
