Broadreach Staffing’s client is seeking a Commercial Business Insurance Sales Agent for a newly created in-office role south of Boston, MA (in-office, Monday–Friday business hours). The position focuses on building relationships and providing insurance solutions to business clients.

The role combines prospecting and inbound inquiries, with compensation including base salary, commissions on new business and renewals, and annual bonuses. A license path and career development are supported.

Qualifications

• 1 year of sales or customer service experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Sales-minded and motivated; new grads welcome.

Commercial Business Insurance Sales Agent

About Our Client
Our client is a growing, well-established independent insurance agency south of Boston offering commercial, personal, and life insurance. With decades in business, they are known as a go-to agency in the local business community. This is a newly created position.

Responsibilities

• Split time between outbound calls to business insurance leads (about 50%) and inbound inquiries from organic marketing (about 50%)
• Assess clients' business insurance needs and recommend coverage options (cyber, general liability, workers' comp, property, auto, E&O, health, dental, life)
• Build trusted-advisor relationships and deliver proposals in a low-pressure environment
• Assist with the renewal process
• Network actively in the local business community

Compensation

• Base salary: $50,000–$60,000
• P&C commissions: 50% on new business / 25% on renewals of agency net income, for the life of the policy
• Life & DI commissions: 50%
• Incentive/override plans for hitting production thresholds
• New agents can earn up to ~$12K in first-year production bonuses
• Annual company bonuses and performance-based raises
