Job summary

Colliers International in Richmond, VA seeks a technical maintenance professional to oversee preventative maintenance and repairs of mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems in commercial buildings. You will ensure those systems run efficiently and safely for clients and properties.

You bring at least 3 years of building or engineer experience, a CFC certification, and solid knowledge of HVAC, electrical and energy management systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of building maintenance or engineering experience.
• CFC certification (or ability to obtain).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and energy management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and check daily operating logs for air conditioning, fan units, graph charts, utility meters and general complaints.
• Ensure building systems and tenant service requests are handled efficiently at the most economical cost.
• Coordinate contractor, tenant, and management approvals for work orders.
• Apply procedures and proper chemical treatment levels for cooling towers and boilers.
