Responsibilities

• Represents the bank in prospecting and developing new loan, deposit and related business for the line of business.
• Manages business banking client relationships, overseeing account maintenance and meeting client needs.
• Builds referrals with COIs including commercial real estate agents, brokers, CPAs, and attorneys.
• Forges cross-department and vendor relationships to cross-sell products and expand client relationships.
• Collaborates with other lines of business to meet client needs.
• Delivers quality service, resolves issues, and maintains client communications via visits and calls.
• Maintains deep knowledge of bank policies and guidelines for the business line.
• Refers lending, treasury, insurance, mortgages, and deposits to bank partners.
• Participates in community activities to promote products and strengthen ties.
• Interviews applicants, analyzes data to determine creditworthiness, negotiates terms, and monitors credit.
• Monitors loans and takes collection actions on past-due accounts.
• Educates borrowers on process, structure, and expectations.
• Analyzes eligibility, originates and structures loan requests.
• Submits documentation packages to the credit department and assists in analysis.
• Recommends approval of commercial loan applications.
