Nusenda Credit Union in El Paso, TX is seeking a Commercial Banking Operations Specialist I to provide operational support to mitigate transaction and compliance risk within the Commercial Banking Department. You will review pre-funding requirements, prepare loan documents, and handle booking and funding of new loans and renewals.

• One to three years of similar or related experience.
• Associates degree, or completion of a two-year college degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare loan input forms and boards new loans, renewals, modifications, and extensions on the core system which typically include standard loan structures.
• Process all loan fundings, ensuring all funding requirements, approval conditions, and funding controls are satisfied prior to disbursement.
• Conduct quality control reviews of loan documents against approved credit memorandums to ensure compliance with approval conditions, policy and regulatory requirements, and established funding controls.
