Job summary

Nusenda Credit Union is seeking a Commercial Banking Operations Specialist I to provide essential operational support within the Commercial Banking Department. You will handle pre-funding reviews, loan input, and coordinate with teams to ensure accurate funding and compliance with policies and BSA regulations.

In this role you will manage loan documents, tracking, and reporting, perform quality control against credit memorandums, and support relationship teams with research and servicing tasks

Qualifications

• One to three years of similar or related experience.
• Associates degree or completion of a two-year college degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare loan input forms and board new loans, renewals, modifications, and extensions on the core system which typically include standard loan structures.
• Process all loan fundings, ensuring all funding requirements, approval conditions, and funding controls are satisfied prior to disbursement.
• Conduct quality control reviews of loan documents against approved credit memorandums to ensure compliance with approval conditions, policy and regulatory requirements, and established funding controls.
• Ensure all reporting and financial covenants are accurately incorporated into loan documentation and that all security interests in collateral are perfected.

We are currently searching for a Full-Time Commercial Banking Operations Specialist I, to join our organization. As a Commercial Banking Operations Specialist I, you will provide operational support functions to mitigate transaction and compliance risk for the Commercial Banking Department. You will review pre-funding requirements for loan files and business deposit accounts to ensure compliance with organizational documents, authorities, CIP requirements, and BSA regulations. You will prepare accurate loan documents in compliance with credit approval, ensure collateral interests are perfected when applicable, coordinate third-party report requests, and handle the booking and funding of new loans and renewals. You will maintain exceptions and reports in tracking systems, handle loan billing, research, servicing, modifications, and collateral releases, and provide research and support to Commercial Relationship Teams.

What You’ll Need

• Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft 365 technologies and all internal systems as affiliated with the department.
• Stay current on Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
