SouthState Bank seeks a Commercial Banking Associate through a structured program designed for new graduates. Training onsite in Tampa, FL for the first 6 months, then rotation into your local market; role starts January 11, 2027.

You’ll develop underwriting, loan processing, portfolio management, and relationship management skills to build business banking opportunities. You'll collaborate with banking staff and sales partners, participate in cross-functional projects, and complete compliance

Qualifications

• Must have graduated with a Bachelor’s degree within the last 2 years or Dec 2026 grad, with a minimum GPA of 3.4, preferred.
• Previous internship experience, preferably in finance, banking, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with financial modeling or banking software is a plus.

Responsibilities
