Job summary

SouthState Bank is seeking a Commercial Banking Associate. This program targets new graduates and offers structured training and hands-on experience in underwriting, loan processing, portfolio management, and relationship management.

You’ll collaborate with banking staff to grow business banking opportunities and learn through mentorship. After onsite training in Tampa, FL for the first 6 months, you’ll return to your local market, with potential progression to the Commercial Portfolio Analyst

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, or related field within the last 2 years.
• GPA 3.4 or higher, preferred.
• Prior internship experience in finance, banking, or related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Learn and assist in underwriting and credit processing tasks.
• Support portfolio management and client relationship activities.
