Job summary

SouthState Bank is seeking graduates for our Commercial Banking Associate Program in Tampa, FL. After training onsite for six months, you’ll return to your local market and begin building underwriting, loan processing, and relationship management skills.

This program provides a pathway to roles such as Commercial Portfolio Analyst and other business banking positions, with exposure to term loans, lines of credit, cash management, SBA loans, and treasury services, while you develop sales acumen

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree completed within the last two years, 3.4 GPA preferred.
• Internship experience in finance or banking preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with banking software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support underwriting through analysis of financial statements and credit data.
• Assist in loan processing and portfolio monitoring.
• Collaborate with Relationship Management to secure new business.
