Job summary

First Interstate Bank in Hamilton, MT (or Missoula Downtown, MT) seeks a Commercial Banking Representative I to serve as the primary contact for commercial clients with basic loan portfolios and support Relationship Managers in servicing those clients.

You will develop knowledge of the assigned area and accounts through client contact, handle day-to-day activities, and ensure accuracy in loan documents and digital records while adhering to regulatory and internal policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 1-3 years banking experience required.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day client calls, transactions and issue resolution.
• Respond to client inquiries and perform account maintenance.
• Process client transactions within delegated authority or RM oversight.
• Prepare loan documentation and related supporting materials.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for loan-related documents.
• Ensure compliance with ethics, AML, BSA and security requirements.
