Job summary

Eastern Bank is seeking a Commercial Banking Administrator III to independently manage large, complex loan accounts and support a lending team through the loan closing process. You will review documents, ensure approvals, monitor post-closing items and coordinate with attorneys and customers to resolve issues.

This role emphasizes compliance, accuracy, and timely processing within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of commercial banking compliance and regulations.
• Ability to work independently with little direction.
• Strong communication, organizational, writing and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Access) and banking systems.
• Experience with nCino, Salesforce and related loan platforms.

Responsibilities

• Review and complete due diligence for commercial loan documentation and closings.
• Monitor post-closing items and manage loan closing processes.
• Open and maintain commercial deposit accounts and oversee overdraft processes.
• Prepare and analyze loan data, manage pipeline in nCino, and coordinate with departments.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior Commercial Banking Administrators.
• Generate management reports and assist in system upgrades.
