1-Tom-Plumber Wenatchee is actively seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to grow our commercial plumbing business in the Wenatchee area. This role emphasizes creating opportunities, building relationships, and closing new accounts, not waiting for inbound leads.

You will drive outreach, manage a robust pipeline, and collaborate with operations to ensure client satisfaction. High energy, persistence, and a hunter mentality are valued for long-term leadership growth.

Qualifications

• Previous sales or business development experience is highly encouraged, but it is not required.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting and developing new commercial accounts
• Building strong, lasting relationships with business owners, property managers, facility managers, contractors, and other commercial decision-makers
• Developing strategic referral partnerships throughout the community
• Cold calling and reaching out to prospective customers
• Walking into businesses and introducing yourself and our company
• Scheduling and attending face-to-face meetings with prospects and partners
• Attending networking events, business functions, and community events
• Taking customers and prospective partners to meetings, lunches, and other relationship-building opportunities when appropriate
• Consistently following up with prospects until the opportunity is won or clearly closed
• Identifying new industries, businesses, and partnerships we should be pursuing
• Managing your pipeline and keeping sales activity organized
• Working closely with our operations team to make sure new customers receive a great experience
• Helping strengthen the 1-Tom-Plumber brand throughout Wenatchee
• Creating opportunities instead of waiting for someone else to give them to you
