Job summary

Jobot is seeking tenured attorneys for a multi-office South Carolina practice focused on commercial and real estate transactions. You will run deals end-to-end, drafting and negotiating agreements with direct access to decision-makers.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years in commercial/transactional practice with meaningful CRE exposure.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• Experience coordinating closings and working with lenders/underwriters.
• Active South Carolina license (or eligible to waive promptly).
• Organized, responsive, and business-minded.

Responsibilities

• Structure, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements (purchase/sale, JV, services, licensing, NDAs).
• Lead commercial real estate matters: acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, and financing.
• Review title commitments, exceptions, and surveys; resolve curatives; manage escrow/closings.
• Advise on corporate governance, entity formation, ownership structure, and M&A support.
• Coordinate diligence across internal teams, lenders, brokers, and third-party vendors.
• Spot risk, propose practical solutions, and keep transactions moving on timeline.
• Build templates/playbooks to streamline contracts and closings.
