Role Summary:
The Commercial and Wholesale Sales Specialist will drive organic growth and manage key accounts for our manufactured and imported product lines. This role focuses on executing sales strategies, building relationships with top contractors, and ensuring customer satisfaction across assigned territories. Georgia, Alabama, Chattanooga, Tenn.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company goals and expand market presence.
- Identify market opportunities and trends to position products effectively in commercial and wholesale sectors.
- Create and execute annual sales plans, including revenue, margin, and customer acquisition targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to meet customer and company objectives.
- Expand the customer base by onboarding new commercial and wholesale clients.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product development teams to support sales initiatives.
- Maintain deep knowledge of the product portfolio to educate clients and meet their needs effectively.
- Monitor industry trends, competition, and customer preferences to adapt strategies.
- Provide insights to product development to align offerings with market demands.
- Oversee the sales pipeline, forecast revenues, and track KPIs.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with policies, pricing, and legal regulations.
- Assist leadership with integration of acquired companies and customers as needed.
- The TSM role requires up to 75% travel to support marketplace activity and meet sales targets, varying by territory.
- Operate within company policies and submit reports as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- 8+ years of sales experience in Hardscapes or related segment.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Self-starter with effectiveness both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Established contacts within the territory.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet and exceed sales budgets.
- Willingness to travel up to 75%.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience considered.
