• This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global HR-tech space as a Senior Legal Counsel - Commercial and Product, joining our Legal Team. We are looking for a talented and eager commercial and product lawyer, interested in helping with our team's mission: supercharging our business through excellent legal advice and solid legal processes.
• Our well-established Legal team is composed of friendly, talented, highly motivated lawyers from various countries, with diverse experiences.
• The Legal Commercial and Product team supports: our Product Team and internal stakeholders with product counseling and legal compliance during product development and launches; our Sales Team with commercial negotiations on agreements; our Collections Team with litigation advice to ensure compliance with debt collection laws and dispute resolution; and the wider Legal Team by drafting commercial templates and contributing to processes.

What you bring

• Experience in handling sales negotiations and client collections, including overseeing related litigation.
• Ability to manage litigation and dispute resolution, including legal issue identification, strategy formulation, execution, coordination with teams and external counsel, and compliance.
• Ensure transactions are smooth and compliant, managing disputes effectively.
• Collaborate with the Product Team to ensure legal compliance from design to market delivery.
• Assist in improving processes, templates, and knowledge resources.
• Promote a compliance-focused approach.
• Provide solutions proactively rather than escalating problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice during product development and launch.
• Support compliance with applicable laws and regulations throughout the product lifecycle.
• Handle sales negotiations and oversee related litigation.
• Manage litigation and disputes, including strategy and coordination.
• Ensure smooth, compliant transactions and manage disputes.
• Improve legal processes, templates, and resources.
• Foster a compliance-focused culture.
• Offer solutions proactively.

• Location: Open to all, with priority for APAC timezone applicants
• Start date: As soon as possible
• Compensation Philosophy: We ensure fair, unbiased pay and benefits globally, paying above local rates to support global talent and local economies, using geo ranges for pay differentials.

The salary range for this full-time position is $53,000 to $119,000, depending on role, level, location, skills, experience, and market conditions. Actual pay will be determined accordingly.
