Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 5+ years of commercial middle market banking experience required.
• 3+ years of leadership, supervisory, coaching, or team management experience required.
• Strong understanding of commercial lending products, credit risk assessment, and underwriting principles required.
• Experience with complex commercial credit structures and transactions required.
• Knowledge of commercial loan and deposit documentation required.
• Knowledge of nCino and related commercial banking systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Commercial Analysts to support growth and quality.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to provide coaching and performance feedback.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and train Commercial Analysts for successful integration and development.
• Identify high-potential talent and support succession planning.
• Provide direction for analyst performance, workflow management, and client support activities.
• Serve as a point of contact for daily analyst responsibilities (process questions, system issues).
• Monitor workload, capacity, and resource allocation to ensure coverage and development opportunities.
• Review analyst work product for quality, consistency, and accuracy.
• Manage a limited portfolio of commercial banking relationships and credit activities.
• Partner with leaders on in-market sales strategy and support.
• Provide guidance on complex credit structures and financial analysis.
• Ensure adherence to credit, underwriting, risk, and operational procedures.
