Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Commerce Strategy Manager to lead day-to-day delivery of commerce strategy engagements across industries, shaping how clients position commerce as a growth channel and integrating it with pricing, CX, and strategy.

You will partner with client leadership to translate business challenges into structured analyses and executable roadmaps, align operating models, and drive cross-functional workstreams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with a demonstrated history of consulting delivery in commerce strategy, digital commerce, customer experience, technology-enabled transformation, or related areas
• 5+ years of experience working directly with business, digital, technology, or commerce client teams
• 5+ years of experience shaping commerce strategies and translating them into actionable roadmaps, operating models, or implementation plans
• 1+ years of experience incorporating AI into daily workflow and leveraging AI tools
• Ability to travel up to 30%+ on average, based on the work you do and the clients you serve

Responsibilities

• Leading the day-to-day delivery of commerce strategy engagements across industries, including defining commerce's role as a growth channel, channel strategy and role definition, commerce operating model design, and experience optimization
• Partnering with client business, digital, technology, and operations leaders to define commerce strategies tied to clear business outcomes
• Translating business challenges into structured analyses, recommendations, and executive-ready deliverables grounded in data, customer insight, and commercial logic
• Shaping commerce strategy roadmaps that span channel positioning, experience design, capability priorities, and organizational change
• Driving the implications of commerce strategy and channel positioning into other parts of the commercial strategy agenda and helping clients prioritize commerce use cases
• Partnering with global technical and implementation delivery teams to ensure the strategic intent and value case behind commerce decisions carry through into execution
• Managing day-to-day client relationships, facilitating working sessions, and overseeing scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies across workstreams
• Using advanced analytics and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, insight generation, and work quality
• Supporting practice growth through proposals, solution shaping, workplans, and follow-on opportunities
• Coaching teams, modeling Deloitte leadership behaviors, and contributing to an inclusive, high-performing culture
