Job summary

JSP in Kingston, NY is seeking a Comfort Advisor to meet with homeowners in their homes, evaluate comfort needs, and recommend HVAC replacement solutions. The role offers uncapped earning potential with weekly draw/pay, company-generated leads, and comprehensive benefits.

You’ll deliver engaging in-home presentations, explain equipment options and financing, build trust, close sales, and collaborate with installation teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC Comfort Advisor or in-home sales preferred.
• Excellent in-home presentation and communication skills.
• Strong ability to build trust with customers.
• Self-motivated, assertive, and results-oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners in their homes to evaluate comfort needs and recommend HVAC replacement solutions.
• Conduct professional, engaging in-home sales presentations.
• Build trust with customers by listening to concerns, educating options, and providing solutions.
• Explain HVAC equipment, comfort solutions, and financing options clearly.
• Prepare and present proposals that meet customer needs and company standards.
• Close sales while maintaining a consultative, customer-focused approach.
• Follow up with prospective customers and maintain strong communication throughout the sales process.
• Work with company-generated leads from marketing, referrals, and personal prospecting.
• Collaborate with installation and operations teams to ensure a smooth experience from appointment to installation.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within company systems.
• Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales goals.
• Represent JSP with honesty, integrity, and professionalism.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Previous HVAC Comfort Advisor, In-Home Sales, Outside Sales, or consultative sales experience preferred

• Experienced HVAC technicians who are confident communicating with homeowners and interested in transitioning into sales are encouraged to apply

• Excellent in-home presentation and communication skills

• Strong ability to build trust and establish relationships with customers

• Self-motivated, assertive, and results-oriented

• Strong closing skills with exceptional follow-through

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities

• Outgoing personality that thrives in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment

• Customer-focused approach with a commitment to providing an exceptional experience

• Experience presenting financing options or selling home improvement solutions is a plus
